If you have ever found yourself not just entertained but fascinated by something that at the same time makes you uncomfortable, it’s possible you’ve already seen the Mother Fakir. The Mother Fakir presents a completely unique spectacle. Technically he is one of the top fakir performers in the world today, few if any of the other performers in this field come close to the level of difficulty he works at, or the quantity of shows he performs, or the high energy presentations that his career is based around.  If you don’t notice the high level of difficulty in the show don’t worry it’s hidden under the coating of comedy, “I’m not trying to impress anyone; I’m just here to entertain the audience” The Showmakes you laugh as much as it makes you cringe.  People usually come to see the show expecting to see some piercings and a little bit of blood but they never expect to find the comedy.  Expected or not the comedy is strategically placed in the Mother Fakir’s show too create a level of comfort for the audience, and creating a fakir show accessible to almost any audience.    “We’ve yet to find the proper demographic for the show, I’ve got grandmas and children of six years in the front row laughing and grown men in back fainting and crying” The Mother Fakir comes from the U.S.   Despite the fact that the U.S. has a large history of freak shows he passed his childhood without ever seeing a real freak show. When he was old enough to realize that freak shows no longer existed  he made a decision to remedy the situation.   If the freak show no longer existed he would create his own. “I’ll be damned if another child will live the deprived childhood I had too”
